Allies Serve

Public Allies is part of a national service oriented program. Every year we partner about 40 individuals with local nonprofits to work on capacity building programs to better serve the organization’s clients. Allies work specifically within our local focus areas of education, homelessness, and healthy futures. Apart from this staff and Allies, engage in large-scale community service projects that focus on bettering our communities.

Three of our largest public service events happen on National Make a Difference Day, MLK Day, and Cesar Chavez Day. For this years Make a Difference Day Public Allies, Alumni and Arizona Neighborhood Transformation partnered to power wash and repainted the mobile homes of a medium size community in the west valley to increase community pride and participation.

Through this work Public Allies is able to demonstrate public service and engage locals to take ownership and leadership of their communities
